Seattle Kraken GM Ron Francis will be flying to the World Junior Championship in the coming days and, presumably, will give the Shane Wright camp some clarity on where the young man will be playing the rest of this season. Francis apparently hasn’t even told his most trusted allies whether he intends on sending Wright back to junior hockey. One possible scenario is that Wright could join the Kraken in Ottawa for their game against the Senators Jan. 7, then be sent back to the Ontario Hockey League in time for him to be dealt before the Jan. 10 trade deadline.
